...1/2a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. Her sister Mary sat at the Lord's feet, listening to what he taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, ...Lord doesn't it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me!o But the Lord said to her ...My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being worried about. Mary has discovered it and it won't be taken away from her.o

The woman God described in Proverbs 31 understands this. She equips herself with strength (Spiritual, Mental and Physical Fitness for her God given task).

How much time do we spend equipping ourselves for the daily tasks that God gives us? Do we spend time sitting at his feet like Mary did?

Sometimes it is so easy to be busy running around doing things for God that we forget all he really wants is our hearts.

In May 2008, the Ontario Women of Virtue ignited a flame in our hearts to continue to seek Gods will in our lives. We are hosting the second Women of Virtue Canada in Alberta in May 2009 and we are very excited about what God is going to do at this meeting. We call upon you, our sister, to come join us in the midst of God's wonderful creation in Caroline, Alberta, to celebrate ...The Essence of a Womano and the strength that God has given us.
